Today was more demolition of concrete and other site materials. We started the day with a new piece of equipment meant to help jack-hammer the concrete slab. Work was progressing well until the big "mean machine" suffered a fatal blow.While attempting to pull up concrete from the a-frame foundation one of the major fittings on the claw was broken. The problem cannot be fixed in the field so the plan is to have a new "mean machine" delivered either later today or tomorrow. At least we didn't break any water pipes today!
