Cold and Wet

The last few days have been cold and wet at the work site. Of course, cold is a relative term but the wet does tend to slow down the work. The last two days have seen slow progress with the final site work as well as the plumbing work inside the building. The new parking lot (Westheimer side) is nearly prepared and will be limed the end of the week. The plan is for rock to be put down next week so that the lot can be used. Remember that the lot will not be finished until the end of the project (paved, curbs, sidewalks, etc.). However, we will be able to use the gravel lot for parking (at least those who are willing to brave the conditions).

The big news is that the metal roof is scheduled to arrive early next week with installation beginning immediately thereafter. Also the metal studs (interior and exterior) are scheduled to arrive early next week with work starting on the exterior framing of the building.
